My ex was anti-Christmas too, manx. He went mad at me once when I bought his mum a little box of chocs for the big day saying I was breaking his 'no pressies' tradition. Each to their own I say as long as you don't wreck everyone else's day. He used to ruin mine!

I was like you thought it was over the top and naff and cheeesey, this year i flew from my nest and went into the big bad world, and now i understand christmas, yes you spend alot of money ( but only if you want), but its not a waste of time, thinking of others, actually have a day about yourself and your family and friends i dunt think thats a waste of time, i sujest that if your not celebrating you and every1 else you know that you go to your local shelter for the homless donate your time to feeding people less fortunate than yourself, have a Very Merry Chrismas
