Time for giving
Ok so maybe more a body and soul question, but hey its about xmas too and thought I'd try you lot out. I'm in a dilemma. I have a 'mate' who gradually over the past year we havent really spoken and I used to go round hers every Sunday but now I'm lucky if I get invited. Anyway last week she was having a poker night well her bloke was, but my mates were invited and you'd think she'd think of me sat at home and invite me. Anyway I was going out anyway so text her to ask her if she'd got my xmas card and to have a nice night. Then I got a message back which I assume was for her bloke saying. '4getmenot just text me to ask if I got card and said have a nice time, D must have told her about tonite' I text back saying think that was meant for someone else and yes D did tell me. Anyway she said she didn't know who her hubbie had invited and just wondered how I knew and the message wasn't nasty. How would you lot take it? Anyway that isn't the dilemma, this morning I get into work and theres a present on my desk from her! The thing is we don't even normally buy eachother xmas presents, so what do I do? I would know I was only buying her one because she got me one.
