Hello Biddies Hope you are all having a good Christmas. Couldn't get on A.B. at all and was getting a bit anxious but here I am at last. I had a lovely day yesterday with loads of prezzies. Having a quiet day today. Not eatling much as I didn't stop yesterday. My son and his wife are coming tomorrow for dinner so I am looking forward to that.
Derby play Liverpool at Pride Park today. K.O 3.00. I'll be listening giving my support but don't expect we will even score a goal. Never mind!! Next season may be better when we get relegated! Lol. See yer later alligater(s) :o)

gah, am suffering from a Christmas cold, nose streaming so will not go to work today, small mercies. No going to the sales either, with a nose like Niagara. Hope everyone had a nice day, though

Had just lighted a log fire in a stove (we had one yesterday also) and suddenly there's smoke in the house everywhere bellowing out, well I couldn't see any flames coming out of the chimney, but the house was dreadful then a flaming towel fell onto the heath - obviously I'd poked one up there sometime to stop the rain dripping and it caught fire, well I'm glad that's all it was but the house now stinks and we've people coming up. What a relief I didn't call the fire brigade as anyway they take about half an hour to get here.

Hope you all had a lovely day ...
I had the most lovely pressie ...my men clubbed together and had a painting done for me of my dear old departed hound .It's absolutely lovely .Done by one of the local artists here from a photograph .I was thrilled to bits .
We had my aunt for lunch and I was a bit on edge but it all went well.
Plenty of hot toddy for that cold Jno hope you soon feel better ....
Where's Vinny .....zooming around annoying the neighbours I expect in his helicopter !
The only downside .....some swine nicked the Christmas wreath off my front door !

bloomin' heck Vin, time you tidied up a bit I can hardly walk in these new slippers as it is. I thought they were nukeable & now the furs gawn all crisp, tut.
they were selling those helicopters in Westfields...one came whizzing past & knocked the cherries of me best bonnet...have you got It stuck up tree yet?

One of my best presents(to myself) was a Black and Decker battery run screwdriver, it's not rechargeable so only have to pop in a battery (well 3 I think) and off I go. Can't be bothered with rechargeable ones as they never have any charge left when I want to use it.

Some years ago I came up with a pretty neat idea for a game/educational game involving a dart board. Long story short it's been on the market for a while and now seemed like a good time to sell the rights. Not quite as impressive as it may sound I'm afraid but it did get me a Sony Vaio so I'm happy. There's something not quite right with the internet access but they're working to fix it. To be precise I should say I'm back with a wobbly vengeance and may disappear again. Or not!
