How nice she looks in simple dresses which show her good figure. Why does she spoil it all in her wedding outfits.

lol Lottie, I don't hink you're supposed to use the gym to work up an appetite... I haven't been near a gym since I left school :o). I've thought about buying an exercise bike to help keep me mobile, especially in the winter, but thinking about it is as far as I've got. My neighbour ended up having some mesh put in her tum to hold the hernia. :o/
Oh dear jno, hurry up and get yourself sorted...in the meantime I've printed off all our previous threads for you to re read (you can correct my grammar) and they'll be arriving shortly in true biddy style

Beautiful pictures shaney, your garden looks lovely. Mine's looking very tired and parched & if it wasn't for the tubs I'd have very little colour at the back.
Well if I'd done the eurolotto with my lotto numbers I'd have won....a whopping £2...oh never mind, what you never have you never miss. I'll have to go & do some digging & see if I can find some bling :o)...hope it's worth a fortune Jude!
Carry on carrying on all ...

Yes Robinia. He talked about the mesh thing, but says best to leave alone unless it becomes troublesome. Do be honest it doesn't bother me at all at the moment. I want to avoid any ops. if possible.
My garden is looking very 'August'. I am always disappointed in it at this time of year and give up trying somewhat.
I now have to go shopping (but not Tescos)

Hello everyone, much nicer and cooler today.
lol Neti, sometimes when I go shopping, I come back and thank DH for the flowers he bought me, often sweeties as well.
I know what you mean Lottie about the garden looking August, loads of stuff over and needing deadheading and the michaelmas daisies and sedums not out yet.
I am a great believer in not fixing what ain't broke and that includes hernias.
The gym in a barn sounds nice, I am not a great gym enthusiast, the only ones I have been in echo and smell of feet.
Go Rams!!! (is that what you say?)

and me, me, me. I want sweeties too!!
Yes Woofie, the barn is nice. The stone walls are all exposed on the inside too and there is nothing echoey or gym like about it. I hate those echoey, sweaty, crowded places where everyone is posing and showing their abs. This is much more laid back with normal people in it.

Come on you Rams.......:¬) Twwoooooo - one, we won for a change. A good start to the season.
Feel pleased with myself cos I walked there and back.
I don't know Lottie you do have some appointments. Hope you get sorted. I used to go Barn Dancing. There used to be a band which was lead by a Mr Yeomans (that's how I knew him) I think his wife and son joined in with him. I loved it. Never did like going to the gym for workouts though. I found it boring and anyway I fell of the walking/running thing. I slipped down and it chucked me off the end. Never again!
My sister looked at the ring with her magnifying glass.and she can sede the initials KR and a lion or leopard and two other marks which must be the place and date or something like that.
The only hallmark initials I can find on the hallmark sites are KR for Crotone a place in Italy. and the other one is KB which it could be as it is a bit blurred and might be Kemp Bros of Britain.
Anyway I'm not getting all excited or anything I doubt very much it is treasure trove.
Tea time now, I'm getting really hungry.
Have a good evening Biddyfriends everywhere.
See yer later 'gater(s)

I actually managed to do unnecessary housework today. I wouldn't make a habit of it but it makes a nice change. Dh came in from dialysis, had scrambled eggs and baked beans for lunch with a bottle of root beer.....I know scarcely digestible but he ate it and enjoyed it. He's spent most of the rest of the day in bed dozing happily, waking for meds and back to sleep. Not surprising really he has weeks of sleep to catch up on.
I had a seafood salad for tea - a jar of cockles and a jar of mussels with cherry tomatoes and cubes of cucumber and a side of breadsticks (shared with the dogs) I had a small tub of Ben and Jerry's for dessert.

Well that's car Insurance and Breakdown sorted.
Your day sounds quite peaceful Woofy. I really hope it was for you and even though you did do housework not hectic. I'm pleased Mr W is eating well again and getting some much earned sleep. You have a good night too.
That includes everybody else. I'm really ready for bed now myself. I've just been glancing through a free copy of Saga Magazine which came through the post today. I don't find it all that exciting. Does anybody else get it.
Goodnight All Sleep well. x
