How nice she looks in simple dresses which show her good figure. Why does she spoil it all in her wedding outfits.

Ouch Lottie poor you. Hope all goes well for you tomorrow. We have another nothing planned day. We're getting the odd bang of thunder here, have dosed Shughy but don't see myself in bed ant time soon.
Finally all is quiet night night ........
Good morning all.

Lovely day outside but will get hotter. Had to collect hija at midnight, and the traffic was dreadfull, so many cars and I hate night driving, found that I had all my lights on at one point, headlights, sidelights foglamps, mainbeam and anything else that was going. The windscreen wipers did not come on which is amazing. Had a headache and was just so glad to take a paracetamol and get to bed finally. On the Es Cana road there are about 20 speed bumps (except that they are rather large one with fairy lights to warn us) and I hate them.
Morning all..
Hope everyone's toddling along as well as can be...and yes, I agree with shaney, slow down neti.

I'd love a skip too, there's lots to be done here & my handyman seems to have deserted me...I really hope things get moving for mr s shaney, the waiting is awful.
I felt the same about having a computer, I nearly wept when my sons plonked my first one in front of me. Bad news for me, I've used almost half my broadband for this month already, so I'm going to have to uz txt spk I thnk :o)

jno I know where there's a hedge needs tackling if you get bored. It's not mine so I can't guarantee you'll be fuelled with Pimms but I'm starting to find it depressing, I can't see what 'er at number 96 is getting up to :o).

And I hope that's not going to happen again for you Jude, I can imagine how it it must feel. Someone I know was fed up of the noisy kids next door to her so one day she turned up the radio full blast & went out for several hours. It did the trick. :o)

Where did August & September go? I don't know about you but it feels like October to me & I hate it. It's not just the weather but the light level has changed & I feel twitchy & low the way I do when then the autumn kicks in...pah! pe po piddle...

Hi,

Just off to dentists and then to Gym!! I must be mad. Solicitors appointment this afternoon.

Couldn't resist a quick comment on the Waist Slip thread!! I had forgotten about waist slips!!

See you later.

xxx
ha, I love looking back at our old threads, this time last year the topic was 'neighbours' would you believe? haha...oh, and a certain menumakerupper...
I hated waist slips and would never wear them as they never seemed to stay where they should....actually I rarely wore slips of any description.
Waist slips? last time I wore one of those it was paper nylon and fitted on the hips, awful rustling sound whenever I moved.
The toe that I "broke" yesterday is completely painfree but a very strange shape. The first joint at the base is bashed in and the toe gose off to the side but doesn't hurt! Stranger and stranger.

how is lottie, sore mouth and sore limbs and muscles now I bet ! ;0)
Neti when I broke my elbow at work I didn't feel any pain. Unbelievable I know but true. They xrayed it, then came to me with an injection for pain but i refused that because I genuinely didn't feel any. I had to have an operation and they put two metal pins in which are still there. They showed me a picture of them afterwards when I came round. So I suggest you may have broken your toe and probably should go and have it xrayed or looked at, at least.
I used to wear waist slips in fact my sister reminded me the other week that I would never go out without one when I was in my teens. I've never worn one since that time. I must have packed up in my early twenties when I was nursing. The uniform was enough to have round my legs.
The ring isn't worth a deal well hardly anything. It is silver with a Birmingham mark about 1964, which was the year we moved in here when it was just built and the gems are just garnets and those brillantes or whatever they are called.
So I am still going to have to rely on my pensions and keep spending a few more bob on the Lotto.
had a nice English pub lunch today, potted beef with horseradish sauce, with a sailor friend from the briny south seas who dropped in en route to Kirkenes, where he and his wife are going to do a Norwegian coastal cruise and he'll just be a passenger for a change.

Lotti has been given stronger antibiotics and dentist has ground down bottom tooth a bit more so that it doesn't stick into gums behind top teeth as much. My dentist is on holiday so I had the pleasure of treatment for his very young and handsome associate!! He has given me two lots of antibiotics so that I can always have some on hand.

I enjoyed the gym. Spent most of my time on the exercise bike and 'cycled' the distance I drive into town without having to contemplate traffic and weather (very windy today). Got my heart rate up nicely and felt satisfied. Some really nice people there and a very friendly atomosphere and I don't feel inhibited at all.

Solicitors was only for half an hour and then we went for a cuppa in a cafe in the town.

Lunch sounds great jno. I adore horseradish sauce. I have it on Mackerel and salmon as well as beef - a scandinavian thing!! All the nice girls love a sailor by the way.

Sorry about your toe Nets, especially as it seems to have a will of its own. Jude I broke my elbow and it was excrutiatingly painful. That was years ago. I fell over in a car park in Luton.

I would love a skip, but Mr LL hangs onto everything. He disappears into our garage/shed for a day to sort things out and ends up with one bin liner of rubbish which he takes to the tip, and then comes back with something good he has found on the tip. grrrrr.

How is Mr W this evening?
Lottie how nice of you to ask, I was going to keep a bit quiet as I seem to just bang on and on. We had a good day. He was able to do without his midday meds, took the anti sickness ones like a good boy and consequently has done okay with intake. We went out today to shop and for cake and he is now weary and has just gone off to bed. I have chicken nuggets from wait rose and home made oven chips (mixed home grown spud and sweet potato) for tea. Will be getting an early night to make up for last night. Neti go to the doctor!!!!!!!!!!
Hugs all....
Glad Mr woofy is doing Ok, has he realised that the pills make him feel OK?

Listen all of you, the toe is fine, just a strange shape, certainly won't go to the medico, he'd laugh at me! Mind you, he is gorgeous in a strange way!!!

Yes lottie, Mr N is exactly the same, we have old computer monitors , hoovers, everything in his shed! He had a phase of bringing home "interesting" things from the rubbish, ie locked metal boxes, and locked cases, all of which he has never managed to open, so gradually I've dumped them. I, of course always bring necessary things from the rubbish!!! I've found a AEG hoover and 2w dvd players, all working!

jno, what is potted meat, is it spam, pate or what, I love horseraddish mixed with cream and always have it on boring tasteless roast chicken!

jude, does your elbow hurt in the damp weather, sounds horrific. When I was 16 and at college I chipped the bone in my elbow, and that was pretty painful!

Waves to Robi, I can sympathise with your headaches now, mine was horrible last night.

Hello shaney and mr s, hope he is Ok and peeing well!!

Actually had to use the tumble drier this afternoon as had bedding out and a dark cloud came over, as soon as the drier had finished, the sun came out again!!!
woofy and shaney and anyone else, please do bang on, if you feel the need, it certainly helps to unload on here xx
it was just beef but sort of shredded (not ground like hamburger) and... put in a little pot about the size of a Marmite jar. It came with toast so I ate it like pate, spread on nibbles of toast with the horseradish.

Glad to hear husbands are learning sense and taking their pills, even if wives do not have the sense to see a doctor before gangrene sets in.
Question Author
Ditto as per Nets. Bang on as much as you like Woof (and anybody else for that matter) It's nice offload!!

Won't be long before I turn in. This gym lark has made me tired and I have been dashing about a bit today.

Meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow, but apart from that, weather permitting am going to spend some time in the garden and walking the dog. Have a day and evening to myself and no cooking to do. Mr an Master LL are going out straight from work tomorrow to Lincolnshire to pick up a Jeep for Master LL.

Night night Biddies

xxxx

That's made me laugh out loud Lottie.

My elbow doesn't hurt at all Neti. In fact it's stronger than my other one Ha Ha!! It's all the metal work.

Have a good night Shaney and Mr S. Woofy and Mr W. Neti, Robi, Jno, and a good day to you Dolly. Including Vin if you're around.

See yer later 'gater(s)
