How nice she looks in simple dresses which show her good figure. Why does she spoil it all in her wedding outfits.

Back from docs. He looked so handsome in a pink and white striped open neck shirt and cream chinos. Phew - my blood pressure must have shot right up.

Anyway, he says it is very possible I have fibromyalgia and we had a chat about it. He then says that my IBS is probably Diverticulitis because it has improved considerably since I have been taking antibiotics for my mouth. When it recurs I have to go back and have another chat.

We then had a chat about hernias.

Ten minutes with that gorgeous man always makes me feel 100% better.

Also done a shop in Morrisons.

Another lovely day here and shall go in the garden.
You sound more cheerful lottie, although diagnosis isn't too good is iT? My bum/hip is really hurting today. Just seen the lizard dash under my fridge/freezer so am not going into kitchen until someone comes home. I hate the thought of it running over my feet and yes am wearing crocs.

Not worried about diagnosis at all Neti. Diverticulitis is quite common and treatable and as for Fibromyalgia, well I have suspected it for years and in the words of the doc, there is little treatment available, but accepting it is the best thing, keep as active as you can and when it hits hard just rest - which is exactly what I do.

I won't just accept my bad do's which I put down to IBS now and will see doctor in future when they occur.

Diverticulitis runs in our family - I am not surprised by what he said.
Oh dear are you now a fibromite too Lottie? Is he sending you to a rheumatologist?... Who will then send you to pain management...who know very little and in my case, far less than I do. How the hell do they think you've been managing in years prior to diagnosis? :o/
And it seems diverticulitis is either the mal du jour or they're bored of IBS...have you got to have a periscope? :o)

Well I feel a bit better, I'm drunk ...haha, not really... it's the mornings that are toughest...hey ho, I didn't do anything daft when my hormones first left town, guess I've got a second chance now. Can you shoplift on tinternet?
Hi Robi, was in the kitchen avoiding lizard, when I thought of you ;0) Was going to ask if you had any illnesses, I know in the past you have been serioulsy ill and was wondering. You are always very cheerful on here, as I must say are all the biddies. We are a hardy crew!

It was the rheumatologist that I saw a couple of weeks ago that I wanted to discuss fibrowhatsit with and she had a different agenda. As Robbie says, fibrowhatsit can't be diagnosed accept by ruling out all the other things it could be. It might be that the ME I was diagnosed with all those years ago was fibrowhatsit. You can treat the symptoms but it can't be cured. I trust my doc - wise man. I am 64 now and have lived with it for a long time so there is no need to go through lots of tests to confirm. Doc agrees.

As for the diverticulitis, it is different from IBS because there is infection present which can cause a problem. Food and muck gets stuck in the diverticulars or something and then can fester and infect. That's probably why the antibios have made it somewhat better.

The other thing the doc said is that when you have osteoarthritis and R.A and fibrowhatsit then it's all a cloudy issue and it all merges together.

Shaney and Robi will know exactly what I mean.

Sorry, I got muddled between Robi and Neti. Brain has problems as well!!

Haven't got to have a periscope investigation at this stage. Might have to if it flares badly again, though could be managed with antibiotics. Definitely nothing sinister going on!!
The nothing sinister is good Lottie....Dh is having a snake day today as opposed to a ladder day. He really hates not being invincible which makes things worse. Robi are you okay? you can't shoplift on t'internet but you can go from site to site filling your basket and never buying anything.
My knee is still improving. I have been shopping online today, bought a tens machine for me and a load of retro sweets for DH to keep his weight up. Dogs are alternately farting and snoring.
Loads of docs would be out of business without us lot keeping them busy....
anybody want a cstrd crm?... no?.... good, all the more for me....

Oi neti, I thought lizards were fat & scaly? Ok, one out of two, I can see your point :o) Ozzy son has lizards to deal with now, ugh!
Well I'm not always cheerful but I usually find something to laugh at, I've got a black sense of humour & sometimes I have to be careful. Usually most people of biddy age can laugh at themselves too...I've got fibro, ibs, arthur, rising damp, and things the medics have never even heard of....but I don't like to complain :o)

Yes Lottie I know what you mean, I'm a cloudy issue but I don't intend to have any investigations that I don't need either. You daren't complain about anything these days for fear they'll be poking cameras north and south & draining your veins.

They make a fibro clock you know...

:o)
lol @ basket filling woofy, I already do that...the trouble is some sites bloomin well save it all 'til the next time & then you wonder why (when you really want something) your total looks like the national debt. I'm ok thanks, I'll survive (not sure the rest of the world within my reach will). Hope mr w is climbing the ladder tomorrow.
