Can anyone recommend a good lavender oil please? I've bought them in the past and they just didn't smell right somehow. It's mainly for refreshing wheat packs, pillows etc.

Baldwin's of the Walworth Rd in London ( not far from the Elephant and Castle) are true herbalists and do a postal service. They will make it clear whether they are selling the true flower oil or artificial versions.
By the way, they sell wonderful Pot Pourri oils and lots of other perfume oils.

hello neti, where did you pop up from?
oight oight all...sleep well.
woofy I popped up before you did!!

Am orf to Barça in the morning 8am flight!! so may not be on here for a while, as things to do and places to see, if I take little lappy I may pop in but not sure re weight of luggage yet. I'll be back on Saturday,

Take care all of you, and keep well and happy.

oight oight and adios, hasta la vista, vaya con dios mis amigas!!!
HHave a great time Neti xxxx
Good morning all, Neti have a lovely time!
We went out this morning, it was icy and frosty so we didn't stay out long, just as well as the fog was rising (thick) as we drove home. Have just had lovely hot tea and toast so time for some kip I think....laters all.
^^ What on earth was Jude doing at that time of the morning!!!

Back has eased a lot, so going to garden centres and new neighbour is joining us. She has a whole new garden to plan. Troll just ripped everything up that grew except for bamboo. He got rid of a beautiful thick beech hedgethat provided cover from the road and replaced it with a couple of lengths of ranch fencing about 1m high.

So Neti is on her way!! I would love to go to Barcelona, but couldn't manage walking around it. Perhaps one day.................

Mmmmm Woofie, hot tea and toast sounds good....................... off to get some (with ginger marmalade)!!

See you later. xx

Morning all...a dull, very cold one it is too....Where's shaney? She hasn't been here since Sunday I see.
I hope she's not feeling like me... ie bloody awful. Soon after I posted on Monday teatime something just hit me like a truck, I thought I had flu coming on (I've had it at least 3 times and I remember the speed at which it hits). Anyway I went to bed and didn't feel quite so bad yesterday, lots of pain up the back of my head and neck made me very dizzy tho. And just to top it off I keep coming over all panicky....oh pee po belly bum...

Have a great time neti, and don't overdo it!

And well done Jude...but yes, what were you doing up at that hour? Hope you and everyone else are toddling along well.

shuffles off whistling a merry tune....NOT

:)
Oh dear, poor Robi. I felt dreadful yesterda, but today after 9 hours sleep I feel a lot better. Have just been to garden centre and had a bacon sandwich (I never did get my toast and marmalade) and tea and a nice chat, but am now about to change back into my cosy PJs and insert heat pad under my back support thingy (experiment!!).

We came back from G.C. with the car full of shrubs and plants for J. next door. I could hardly see out the window, but it's only 1/2 mile drive away.

And the offer has now been made on the cottage and I have been told I can use the swimming pool as a friend of the owner!!
Robi, it might be worth talking to your GP about the panics. He might have some suggestions. Anti anxiety pills do not make you Zombi like and are not addictive.
Isn't this just lovely?

Love her voice.
and she is beautiful too and doesn't need gimics or to dress like in the bare minimum like so many do these days.
Do any Bibbies ever venture to the Joke Section? Is it run by one person who sits looking up jokes all day. To me 'Jokes' indicate a rather poor sense of humour and are a bit sad. Apologies in advance if you don't agree. It's just that this person and her jokes always seem to be in the new posts on the home page.
Bibbies?

Well I've got something else to feel edgy about now, Ozzy son is in hospital, he's broken his foot in 3 places at work, poor lad. :( Haven't spoken to him yet, he's just been sending messages from his mobi, they've dosed him up on morphine so I hope he gets some sleep, it'll be midnight now. Looks like 6 weeks or more lolling by his swimming pool which might sound idyllic but broken bones are no joy, especially in the feet.

yes Lottie I love that song too....and no, I never do the jokes section. I don't mind the occasional one, it depends who's telling it, but I'm not a great fan.
Oh dear Robi, poor son No. 1. Have you got a name for him.

Another grouch. What is all this with Mock Layer Tops. If I want to put something on over a top, I want to be able to take it off. I don't want a cardi stuck to a T shirt with no back!!!! I keep seeing mock layer tops where I like the top layer, but don't want the mock top front!!!

Grumble, grumble, grumble.
I have to phone Australia and it has to be after 10.00pm and I keep forgetting to do so!!!
hello all, I have been a tidyin' and a tossin' today. There always seems to be something else to throw away. The dogs have reverted to puppyhood and are beating each other up around the house and garden. I should stop it in the house but its so funny.
Hoping Shaney is okay and sorry to hear that you are unwell again Robi, I think Lottie's suggestion of a chat with the doc is a good one. Sorry to hear about Robbie McKenzie, feet are no fun but orthopaedics has come on by leaps and bounds lately.
I have had two whinges about jokes cluttering up the front page to the extent that there are more joke postings than spam postings some mornings. And yes most of them are both old and unfunny.
Yes I think that mock tops are silly too, if I want a cardie, I want a warm back as well!
Time to give the dogs a chewie.
Another moan.

I think a certainly ABer might well be Mrs OAG. I think I should keep away from AB. He, he. xx
Hi All. I was having a wee if you must know and I thought I'd have a quick look at you all on my Phone before I went to sleep :) :)
Sorry about your anxiety Robi and Lottie. I have had it in the past and I still have mild depression which I know I've had it since you know when.
I've had panic attacks too and needed help with them but thankfully they subsided years ago.
I hope you both feel better soon.
That's a lovely song Lottie by a lovely singer.

Hope your son recovers soon Robi. You don't have to tell me about broken bones do you!! At least the sunshine may help him to get better quickly and lift his spirits.

Who the devil is Mrs OAG Lottie or can't you tell me on here. I'm to have a browse on topics now you've raised my curiosity. Something I rarely do.

I hope you all have a good night and Jno and Neti are enjoying themselves
Laters 'gaters
Hi Jude.

Mrs AOG is just an AB'er who is so prejudiced against anybody in the country who is not british born and white. If you check my recent postings of today you will see my rather rude retort to the said person who is complaining about the lack of white people in London. She moans and groans all the time and gets my goat.

My Friday meeting with one friend has been postponed, but my friend from Spain has just phoned and she is picking me up and off we go to Lunch on Friday yipeeeeeee. She is my closest friend and I am rather lost without her. Of course you are all good friends too, but I can hug her in real life and sometimes you need a real hug from a good friend.

Cyber hugs to all of you though xxxxx
