Can anyone recommend a good lavender oil please? I've bought them in the past and they just didn't smell right somehow. It's mainly for refreshing wheat packs, pillows etc.

Baldwin's of the Walworth Rd in London ( not far from the Elephant and Castle) are true herbalists and do a postal service. They will make it clear whether they are selling the true flower oil or artificial versions.
By the way, they sell wonderful Pot Pourri oils and lots of other perfume oils.

I'm pleased Your son is feeling a bit better Robi. It must be stressful for you with him all those miles away. I know what my sister feels with her daughter in NZ. We all still miss her so much even after over 20 years.

Had a lovely lunch .Roast beef for Mr S and lamb for me .I was eating it and thinking about those children in America .
Those kids were lovely on that programme .They were so bright and hopeful in spite of everything .So sad how they had to live though .Makes you grateful for what you do have .

Morning to all. What was the prog called on the poor people, I would like to see it.

Awake early this am, seen Mr N off to work. Ringworm is losing colour, is now a light pink instead of fiery red so that seems good.

Morning all...weather's absolute crip, dark, misty and piddling down. The change of humidity has sent my sinuses into orbit, snuffly, sore throat/mouth etc...

Ozzy son has been into work neti, but obviously only sitting down at his desk, and his workplace's insurance has covered his medical costs. Daughter in law has 2 p/t jobs but I don't think her health is that brilliant to be honest. Maybe the climate doesn't suit her that well.
The tv prog was America's Poor Kids - BBC2 Wed 6th March.
