Can anyone recommend a good lavender oil please? I've bought them in the past and they just didn't smell right somehow. It's mainly for refreshing wheat packs, pillows etc.

Baldwin's of the Walworth Rd in London ( not far from the Elephant and Castle) are true herbalists and do a postal service. They will make it clear whether they are selling the true flower oil or artificial versions.
By the way, they sell wonderful Pot Pourri oils and lots of other perfume oils.

good morning, we had pouring rain and wind and restlessness last night and a thunderstorm this morning. Peace is now restored so I am going to get some early morning sleep.

oooh, it's chilly out there and a breeze is getting up...tea and toast time.
hellooooo....
Yoohoo all
Not bad here ,cold but dry.
I've just been watchings the birds demolish a suet block .I stopped feeding them a for a while because of that cat but I've moved the bird table and stopped his gallop with some prickly stuff round it .
Picky on the way ,bacon rolls shortly :)
Hope all of you are ok .Keep warm .
I would say good day but am not speaking to any of yous
but apart from that hope you are all well happy. Lovely warm day here, most unseasonal, wore one thin sweater and that was too much.

Went to get our trip to Barca sorted but have to go in again on Monday to finalise it all. did weekly shop (not much needed) so am here having a restful day. We have decided to use up the frozen fish in the freezer, urgh, we don't like fish but wll make it tasty somehow!
Is still grey here and very wet, it started raining here at about 6 last night and to my knowledge hasn't stopped, the boggy garden is now under water. The dogs have had a good sleep, mumped some of my lunch off me and gone back to sleep again. Its very mild, I cant believe that its really going to freeze tonight.
pretty chilly here but no precipitation yet. They're talking about heavy snow on Monday night but I will be in bed, so that's all right. Also heavy clouds of BO coming from the Med but due to disperse over Norfolk. Just realised I forgot to turn off my electric blanket when I got into bed last night - I thought I was unusually warm, I really only use it to take the chill off the sheets/my toes.

lol ^^^ hides behing jno

The birds didn't bother much with my table until I got fed up and pushed it up against the privet, there's a mahonia around the base...suddenly it was feeding central! If a cat comes near they all hop off and disappear into the hedge, it's funny to watch. They're getting through tons of bird suet at the moment, they don't care what flavour it is.

*behing? haha

I'm really fed up of these extra bits down here now... v v v ...I scroll to the bottom of the page and then have to scroll back up...TUT!
I agree, I hate the related threads.
me too...and some of the relatedness is tenuous to say the least.
yes, the related threads are a nuisance, and the robot who saw "Robinia" and thought "fleas" is not one I'd want hoovering my floor.

oh they'll have heard me muttering...'May the fleas of a thousand camels....
I do it quite often....
still mild and wet here. I have got my Dad's barometer in the kitchen, It used to work but latterly its like the one in 3 Men in a Boat that only forecasts dry weather. I kind of like it.
Our fish dinner was delicious, well the fish was Ok (all broken up anyway) but the roasted pepper sauce was to die for, even if I say so myself, am stuffed. Boy am I good - smirks
I had a small pizza and edamame beans for tea, very nice. The dogs had leftover cold herring roe from yesterday. Neti has been rising up some idiot's nose because she asked the same question twice...we really are getting some riff raff on here these days. Not going out in the morning because icy roads are forecast and the roads are soaking wet so it will be like a rink.
haha woofy what a twit, to be polite! But I am suitably chastised!
temperature is dropping here, I think the met office might be right....oight oight all
It's pretty chilly here too, am wearing wristwarmers and slipper in bed!
