Can anyone recommend a good lavender oil please? I've bought them in the past and they just didn't smell right somehow. It's mainly for refreshing wheat packs, pillows etc.

Baldwin's of the Walworth Rd in London ( not far from the Elephant and Castle) are true herbalists and do a postal service. They will make it clear whether they are selling the true flower oil or artificial versions.
By the way, they sell wonderful Pot Pourri oils and lots of other perfume oils.

Hi all and Thanks Woofy and Neti Printer working perfectly after me following instructions from you both and much more 'fuffoowaffin' from me.
Had another busy day. I can't keep up with myself. Appointment then school for the first time this year. It was good to go back.
I'm happy for you Neti that you 'puter is working ok again. It's a good feeling isn't it?
It's been a lovely day today but I can feel the temperature dropping now. Heating is right up in the 20's.

I don't like the added questions at the bottom of the page either Robi. Have they taken ours off or have I got it wrong somewhere along the way.

I had a lovely frittata (sp!) with broc, carrots, mushrooms, peas, and taste the difference chunky maris pipe chips. Loverly winter meal!

I'm going to watch a bit of telly now if I can find something worth watching.
Have a good night all. Oight Oight see yer later 'gater(s)!

£ (sorry was just trying out special characters!!)
I just watched Death in Paradise, followed by Babylon5. I am drinking orange and lime juice with galliano in....must be feeling better.
Its nice when the techy stuff gets sorted out.
Hi jude, glad your printer is working OK, I missed out a few stages, so don't think I helped much.

How is the arm these days, you were back at school today weren't you?

After Corrie am off to make a cuppa coffee and another bit of the 2nd roscon, sick of it by now! then to watch Midsomer. Back is aching a bit after standing in shop for two hours, hope it gets better by Friday as I start real proper zumba then not the Golden age one!

another big freeze on the way (allegedly), Jude, so time to put the slippers in the microwave. Sisses are out dining at the Savoy, where the cocktails are £19. I am dining at home where the Heston lasagnes are two for £8, though I have had a lot of them lately and might give them a miss for a few weeks.

Besides, don't know what I'll be eating after an apicectomy. Not looking forward to this.
Mr N makes the lasagnes here, he does a tuna and spinach one and is truly delicious (and I abhor spinach!) but alas the last one he made was for my triumphant return from ole Blightly when I could not taste anything for weeks and was unwell!! He doiesn't make them too often :-(
oight oight all, be brave jno
Goodness me ..fame at last .Now the whole world can see my drivel .Tut.
Gosh I had to look that up Jno .I hope it goes well .You are braver than me.
I've had a total disaster of a day . Not at all dynamic .
After a broken night with Mr S who had an accident with his contraption went to Lowestoft to Morrisons with my bro shopping ( which we did) and then for lunch (which we didn't) as I felt a bit poorly round Morrisons .So came straight home where I've spent the rest of the day feeling very sickly, shivery and headachey.Perhaps they'll take pity on me at the hospital tomorrow.
Hope everyone else is Ok .Pip Pip for now .
oh dear, poor shaney, this has not been the best of winters for biddies, despite being (at least in my neck of the woods) comparatively mild. I hope the new day brings new health to all.
Good morning all.

Poor shaney, I hope you feel better today. You have such a lot to deal with. I didn't realice that contraptions were still part of Mr S's life, my friend had his prostate shrunk and now OK but has to go immediately he needs too.

Oh jno. I don't have to look up that thing, it is bound to be some torture involving your teeth, I must add you are also very brave, I wouldn't only run a mile, I would leave the country.

Had non-stop dreams of hija last night so am worn out. Still in bed although it appears to be lovely and sunny and breezy outside. Must wash the bedspread and get it dry for tonight!

Hope lote is also on the mend and not feeling too bad, same for woofy, and Robi and Jude.
There is a lovely smell of cooked breakfast in my house and only me here and I am still in bed!!!! Better go and investigate!!!!
Went into the litchen and nothing there :-( so I gave in and cooked myself a lully English breaskfast, now much go and walk it off.
litchen?????

Morning all...yes it's down to zero here and a bit foggy, I've turned my heating up a notch, it's going to last all week. (haven't looked beyond, the future is a foreign country)
Jude you're very brave entering the world of the little germ breeders, hope there aren't too many about. I hold my breath when I walk past a group of them, haha.

Oh dear shaney, take care, I hope you feel better today. I think some of us are working in sync and I'm not sure if it's viruses or the weather. I had a bit of a whizzy by the cheese in Tesco on Tues...and last night I'd only been in bed an hour when my insides started to sound like vesuvius and I feared the worst so I got up and had a walk about just in case...jumping out of bed in a hurry and making myself feel faint wasn't an option. Thankfully it all passed without event but it was hours before I settled....finished reading 'Street cat...', it's a lovely story of determination.

Good luck jno...you should write a book about your teeth.
Don't get excited neti, it's that Bacon candle I lit the other day to wake you all up.
good morning all, feeling much better today, rest and berocca seem to be the key. Neti, did you find the king yet?
Yes woofy one king but no bean (cheap cake)
Question Author
It must have bean and gone... chortle
No beans here either with my insides :)
Well they've looked round Mr S's waterworks .Nothing untoward ,but they reckon he'll always have this urgency due to the muscles being cut about from his major op.So back again six months .
Pea souper here. Coming back along the seafront on the bus you couldn't see the sea .Turned very cold too.
Hope all Biddys are Ok ,keep warm lovelies.
here I is, can't type much because my mouth is full of stitches, but have cocodamols on standby for when the anaesthetic wears off. I am supposed to go stargazing with the BBC tonight, but will wait to see how I feel.
Oh good shaney, that is good isn't it??

Aw por jno, what can I say nuffink, the very though of your suffering hurts me. Dentists should all be lined up and shot! Who needs them!!

Have made a meat and pot pie thinking of Robi all the time! Now having a cuppa and King cake (no king or bean in the 2nd one yet!) am watching something about aliens, very strange called Jeremy Kyle show!!
