Am I alone in hating buying jeans?

I wear jeans most days and am happy to spend a fair bit on a pair to get a good fit, but trying to find a good fit is almost impossible.

I find a pair in the shop that seem to fit and are a bit tight so I'm confident that after wearing them for a while they will relax and I will be comfortable. But there's the problem some relax to a size larger and some don't give at all.

Last year I bought a pair of jeans and they were a really good fit, I went to replace them this year with the same style from the same shop and I could barely pull them up over my bum.

Do you have a bigger bum this year? ; )

(joking!!)
Nope, you're not, the thought of buying jeans sends shivers down my spine, it's very unhelpful as I live in jeans. Late last year I went into a Levi shop, told them I hated jeans shopping and told them what I want. They handed me a pair, apart from length they fitted perfectly, not cheap at £85 but well worth it not to have the agony of going from shop to shop.
I prefer jeggins for all those reasons you mention Eccles. Plus I don't like the lumpy zip and button of jeans.
Marks and spencer jeggings!!! Wonderful fit, very comfortable and not expensive. The denim and grey are the softest
i don't have any jeans
Woofy, I just bought a dark denim pair and a sort of brick coloured pair. Back for a grey pair next week. As you say, wonderful.
woofgang - ive got those and they are brilliant!

Smarter than regular leggings and look great with long top/tunic over them.
The trouble with jeggings is that you have to wear a top that covers your bum and lady bits, with jeans you can get away with a shorter top.

Oi Smow!!! The old pair fitted just fine, they were just looking well worn in the nether regions and were on the verge of splitting!

I have bought two pairs recently one are described as 'Awesome fit', they would be if I was half a stone heavier or the jeans were half a size smaller. The second pair are high end designer ones (bought in the sale) they seem to fit very well and I now know what you get when you spend stupid money on jeans......the back pockets are lined!!!
I find Oasis jeans or River Island are the best fit for my shape. I hate waistbands that sit on my actual waist, much prefer mid to low rise. I can't wear skinny fit jeans either, they must be straight leg, bootcut or boyfriend fit. I am about a 29in inside leg so I find length can be a problem, now I have a sewing machine I can take them up if they're too long.
At my age I don't like wearing denim jeans, so usually wear black skinny leg ones from Next, their sizings seem constant.
I trekked round for ages for jeans recently .I always used to buy then from M&S but they don't seem to cater for extra long anymore .And the quality has gone down the pan..Local department store came up trumps with the perfect length and fit from Dash.
I really hate low rise trousers of any description, always feel like I need to hitch them up.
I have the other problem Daffy, I need a 34 inside leg and most fashion jeans aren't anywhere near that, I love the coloured skinnys but just can't find any long enough.

I might have to pay a visit to M&S, a friend has already recommended their jeggings but I bloomin' hate M&S!!!

It was a pair of Oasis jeans that I was trying to replace Daffy.
I wear NYDJ jeans (or Tummy Tucks) as they are also known as. I find they stretch just enough but they don't go baggy or relax too much at all. I also love M&S jeggings, so comfy.
Next only go up to 33" rocky.................
I love jeans, especially very dark denim, but hate shopping for them. I found my last ones in next when I wasn't really looking for any, slim leg, great fit.

Rocky, it's leg length and body length that are a problem for me. So many low cut jeans are positively obscene, and that is when I'm standing upright God only knows the hideous sight should I bend over..........

Joe Browns do a 34in inside leg in a few of their jeans styles rocky.
