Buying Jeans.

Am I alone in hating buying jeans?
I wear jeans most days and am happy to spend a fair bit on a pair to get a good fit, but trying to find a good fit is almost impossible.
I find a pair in the shop that seem to fit and are a bit tight so I'm confident that after wearing them for a while they will relax and I will be comfortable. But there's the problem some relax to a size larger and some don't give at all.
Last year I bought a pair of jeans and they were a really good fit, I went to replace them this year with the same style from the same shop and I could barely pull them up over my bum.

Late last year I went into a Levi shop, told them I hated jeans shopping and told them what I want. They handed me a pair, apart from length they fitted perfectly, not cheap at £85 but well worth it not to have the agony of going from shop to shop.
Oi Smow!!! The old pair fitted just fine, they were just looking well worn in the nether regions and were on the verge of splitting!
I have bought two pairs recently one are described as 'Awesome fit', they would be if I was half a stone heavier or the jeans were half a size smaller. The second pair are high end designer ones (bought in the sale) they seem to fit very well and I now know what you get when you spend stupid money on jeans......the back pockets are lined!!!

I find Oasis jeans or River Island are the best fit for my shape. I hate waistbands that sit on my actual waist, much prefer mid to low rise. I can't wear skinny fit jeans either, they must be straight leg, bootcut or boyfriend fit. I am about a 29in inside leg so I find length can be a problem, now I have a sewing machine I can take them up if they're too long.
Joe Browns do a 34in inside leg in a few of their jeans styles rocky.
