I have just bought a patio set from argos with parasol and cushions thrown in. Delivered on Monday chairs were a different colour to table. New chairs arrive today, still odd colour. They are sending more out on friday if the still don't match I have to return the whole set even though I am happy with the rest. Its either keep the chairs or return the whole lot . There was no one to talk to other than this one person on the end of the phone who just repeated the same thing over again. Either return the whole set and get a refund or accept them as they are basically. Apart from waiting in on three occasions for delivery, I am very dissapointed. This will be the last time I buy anything from argos.

If they refused to refund then that would be wrong but at least they have tried to rectify the situation.
You dont say what material the patio set is so are they trying to match plastic or wood. Either would be difficult if they are from different batches.
How about taking the refund and re-ordering or simply looking elsewhere.
Its wood. I like the shape of the table and it was a good offer, so have decided if the chairs today are still wrong, I will keep them all and purchase chairs from somewhere else to match the table. It is not difficult to match. I just don't understand where these dark wood chairs came from as they are nearly like black ash and I have not seen any garden furniture in that colour. I am not so annoyed now and can see argos is trying to help by refunding my money. It was just the attitude of the person I was talking to. She obviously hasn't heard of customer care.
Delivery came friday. Chairs are the right colour this time. 3rd time lucky. The dark colour was really horrible so I would not have liked the table and chairs in that colour. Anyway it looks really nice now. I am sure Argos do their best it is sometimes just the people you speak to that get your back up Anyway alls well that ends well.
