I always think that if their goods are so cheap, what are the people (mainly women) that make them paid? Refuse to shop there. Mind you, shopping ethically is becoming more and more difficult these days.

Primark.....my favourite place. I soon get fed up with clothes so if after a few months I don't wear them it's not a waste. As for quality, no problem. Think designer named stuff is an absolute rip off, had some branded stuff that washed like rags and cost an arm and a leg. Never had any problem with washing primark stuff.
I'd rather go to TK Max where I can get designer wear for a fraction of the price. You have to be in the mood though for a rummage. Last time I was there I got some designer trousers with a £225 price tag for £35 . I do like Country Casuals clothingline from house of fraser though, but I don't buy a lot of clothes I prefer to pay more and get things that last -I'm not a fashion slave .
Its ok for vest tops or things I might wear a couple of times
But I've just spent £58 on kiddies stuff in Marks sale - a huge bag including a girls coat reduced from £36 - £9 - I know its going to last too
I think Primark should add an optional penny to every item and use this for education projects - I would not mind paying an extra penny an item and it would soon add up

I mainly buy kids clothing in Primark and have often walked out of there with more than 10 items for around £30 - 35.
I went into a TK Maxx once and never again. Hated it. All the clothes on rails were tightly packed and as Sherrard says just random items with no choice of sizes. I'm not into designer gear anyway.
I tend to buy my clothes from F&F, George or Next.
