has anyone had recourse to ask for money back, is that easy.....
Yes I've bought from eBay not had any bad experiences.
Question Author
that's good to know tony, i have bought a satchel, and am bidding on another, which still has some days to go.
If you pay via PayPal you do get some protection
Question Author
paid by direct debit,
Ok but if you do have any problems ( hopefully not) bank will help out.
Question Author
thanks tony, always good to have a second opinion...
That's no problem emmie.
Always best to double-check prices on Amazon which are often cheaper.

Also Amazon’s return system is easier.

i am after a particular bag, a satchel, which is proving difficult. They have one on e bay which i am bidding for, hopefully i will be successful. but can't be doing with scrolling through thousands of entries for bags on amazon to be honest
I live on EBay lol so I’m your woman lol. Buy at least twice a week on there.
Question Author
as i am a newbie thought to check with you guys, so far been successful on two items, now for the third one which has some days to run
Don't get too obsessed about getting an item. Sometimes people pay over the odds when a good Google search could have produced a new item at a similar or better price.
You can't be paying by direct debit.
Question Author
it asked me for my card details???
Hopkirk you can if you buy direct from vendor
You paid with a debit card, Emmie.
I buy and sell on ebay and yes sometimes there are problems but if you follow advice and contact them if you do have problems then hopefully things get resolved quick. Like us all ive had problems buying things in shops and ebay and other sites and as they say "we learn from our mistakes". Good luck and hope its an enjoyable experience for you
Question Author
thank you all for your useful info
I'd advice paying by PayPal. Then only one organisation has your card details instead of every one you buy from.

I have had bad experiences from eBay in the past. They're rare enough but you are relying on the seller to be decent. You should be ok.
