I shop at Tesco and I'll tell you why. I live in the most northern part of North Wales and I would love to go to my local high street and shop there. I can, in fact remember going into town with my grandmother in the late 50's and early 60's and it was a real event! We went to the post office , then to various shops including the butcher, where I can remember looking at the cattle carcases hanging above the sawdust and being fascinated and horrified by it. We went to grocers, green-grocers, bakers, iron mongers , stationers and haberdashers. That same high street is now devoid of all those shops except for the very same butcher. The only place in town where food is sold now is Iceland and farmfoods! The only option is to shop at either Tesco or Morrisons.
