hi everyone, we bought a new phone for my sons birthday in october last year and its no longer working. My son was listning to music on it and it completely froze, we took the battery out as suggested and started it up again but the same thing happened, so my question is where do i need to take this back to, the store or the manufaturer (i know ve spelt that wrong lol) ?
Hi lotsafun, If you have the reciept, just take it back to the store where you purchased it from and tell them the fault - they will either send it away for it to be looked at and repaired, or in some cases may just give you a brand new one of the same, or equivalent specs model, if not available now. All items come with a 12 month guarantee when you buy them.
pay as you go phone. just wanted to check because we didnt want to go down there and for them to say its nothing to do with them, would it matter if we bought it from their website and not from the store itself do you think?
Yes, it might if you bought it on their website - you may have to ring them up on their contact tel no and deal with it that way.
You could ring up the local shop anyway and ask if you can deal with it there, but if no trouble to you and not too far, there is nothing better than making a nuisance of yourself and attending in person to ask - you may find a helpful assistant that will either deal with it there or then, or send it off for you for repair, so you dont have send it off yourself.
