Arrogance? just fitted front Suspension Springs to my car & taking it to try out, there a long lane near where I live & that's where I went, two cyclist pulled over to let me past, I said thank you by hooting, then I cam across any other two, one was a gent who pulled over but the other, what a right rshole, I was not pushing but would this clown pull over? no wonder Some Cyclists have a bad name, in the end with enough space I passed this knob, with the passenger said window down thanked the clown for being a right dick, this is not aimed at the majority of cyclist, but to some that pay nothing towards the up-keep of roads, Moan over.

They don't pay rego fees hence contribute nothing to the maintenance of roads, have no insurance, whether it be personal and/or property yet seem to think they own the road and are quick to abuse over any trivial little thing.
In saying that the majority are very decent with their activity, it's the few that destroy things for the rest of the road users.

No domestic vehicle does significant damage to the roads. These things need maintenance anyway. And it was a filthy government trick to legislate in order to pretend road fund licence wasn't for the roads any more so they could plunder the tax for other things. There is no excuse for any vehicle user of the roads not contributing.
Meanwhile this conflict could go away if government became responsible and discouraged the dangerous practice of taking vulnerable human powered vehicles onto public roads. Unfortunately politicians fail to take their responsibilities seriously.
