Does anyone have any experience of selling tickets to a tout, as to what kind of value they give you ? I have tickets for Lady Gaga (2 spare) for Saturday and can't shift them on ebay / facebook or to friends, so am faced with taking them to the gig and selling to a tout but I have no idea what % of face value they pay (am assuming they won't pay the ticket price) ?
Any information would be much appreciated.

Why don't you go to the concert and sell them yourself for face value, there'll be plenty of takers.

I am going to the concert, but I thought I would just sell to a tout, if people aren't buying on ebay I would be surprised if they would just turn up to the concert ground ?
Totally depends on the demand for tickets. A tout is very unlikedly to offer much over 10% of the face value.
I would go to the gig and get there early, ask around the touts for a price for a ticket DO NOT say you want to sell one but that you want to buy one.
That will give you an idea of the price. Then when you see someone aproaching a tout , wait until they move away and offer them your ticket at a discount to the 'tout' price you have found.
I did this at an Elton John concert where I found myself with 2 spare tickets , I ended up getting more than the face value for the 2 tickets.
I had two tickets over for Biffy Clyro last year as my mate's father had a heart attack. On the night the touts offered just over £5 for the £25 tickets, but I got face value from a guy and his girlfriend who turned up at the last minute. The tout was livid. Feck him!
Tickets are still available for this concert online from £53 each. i would just go and hang around the entrance and sell them there. The touts will be really p*ssed off but sod them. They ARE selling on ebay I have just looked, 2 just went at £28 each. The problem with ebay is being sure of getting them to the buyer on time.
agree with eddie

but if its twickenham they are still advertising tickets on tv

Thanks for all your answers, it's not a problem getting the tickets to the person since I am going and can meet and hand them over. I have made a little sign so will try and sell them myself.
