Having been on the end of a number of unfounded malicious allegations ( alleger was in debt to me ) I did say " I am getting refutation fatigue on this " as I was refuting allegations whereas in law one doesnt have to ....

he's another victim of Saville really, over excited plods and journos leaping in with both feet. I hope he sues their plasters off. The problem is since Saville so many are now guilty until proven innocent and Sir Cliff is the latest one of those. Plod and co get fooled by unscrupulous gold digging "victims". The BBC did nothing wrong. Their journalists learned the police were going to raid Richard's home, so they covered the story. They are a news organisation, they are not going to ignore a scoop.

A complaint about Cliff was made to the Police, so they are obliged to investigate it. Now they have done so, they can find no evidence, and he has been told there will not be a prosecution. Again, the police have not done anything wrong, they have done their duty.
