Can anyone think of a place name where half of the name is RAP - either the first half or the second half? i.e. Brad Ford?

According to the index in my GB road atlas: the only one which starts rap- and fits most closely is Rapness. According to the index in my World Atlas, there are places called Rap Ko, Rapa, Rapa Nui, Rapallo, Rapang, Rapar, Rapch, Raper, Rapid City, Rapid River, Rapla, Rapperswil, Rapti, and Rapu Rapu. Does it have to be exactly half (i.e. six letters)? I can't be bothered to go through the whole list to find the second half ( -rap).

Well, not the same phonetically, but you have:

Raphael (Cornwall); Rapkyns (West Sussex); Raploch (Stirling); Rapness (Orkney); Raphoe (Donegal); Rapscott and Rapson (both Devon). You also have Suntrap (Edinburgh).
