Hitler Gay???

I have just returned from France where I recognised the word 'Hitler and Homosexual '. Sadly my french is non existant so I was unable to read the rest of the article! Anyone got any idea what the story is about???

The article may have been about a book published last year, written by Lothar Machten, called "The Hidden Hitler", which contends that Hitler was a homosexual. From what I can make out from reviews, Machten produces little, if any, hard evidence for his claim. It has long been believed that Hitler had problems in relating to women, though they found him quite fascinating, and eventually he seemed to form a firm relationship with Eva Braun. Possibly, he had homosexual tendencies, but so do many men who are ostensibly heterosexual.
