Oor Wullie and The Broons.

I have swotted like mad but what's the addresses of Oor Wullie and the Broons.Any idea where the Broons But n Ben is?

I thought they both lived in Auchenshuggle but it would seem the Broons live in Glasgow

Any info would be appreciated.(We are against Blood and Blood cells or something like that just cos one works in a lab:))

I think the But 'n' Ben was in Auchentogle.

No Problem I understood what you meant - its No 10 Glebe Street, if it make any difference. However Wikipedia says :-

All the characters speak in the broad Scots vernacular, of a slightly antiquated, Dundonian style.
Some suppose that the 'Glebe Street' the Broons live in is actually in Glasgow. However the dialect used unquestionably places them in D.C. Thomson's home town of Dundee. However, the current writer said in a BBC Scotland documentary aired in 2005 that despite their Dundonian roots, the home town was always meant to represent Glasgow.

Thanks everyone - does Oor Wullie just live in Auchenshuggle then and the Broons live at 10 Glebe St.

I have most of the trivia like - bet you didnt know the bairns name was Jeanie (only mentioned once).Cant find the name of the twins though!

Just finished watching the Oor Wullie Documentary again.

Its not until next week but I said I would give my team some swotting material - phew!!!

It works if you type it into your browser theres an underscore between Glasgow and Roots. Hope that works and hope the effort is worth it.
