What variety of careers do we have on here?

This was asked a couple of years ago but I don't think there are many left from that era (apart from andy hughes)

I'm a jobless bum now, staying at home looking after my 17 month old. Before I had her I worked in the travel industry, sorting out complaints from holidaymakers on their return to the UK- could tell you some tales from that!!

Sorry to be boring, but a FLT driver with a bit of database work thrown in. Do have a degree in Chem., though, should FLT driving get too difficult for me!

Good luck with the pharmacy. A challenging subject but the financial rewards ought to be worth the effort. Many of my mates I lived with in the States did pharmacy at Uni and several are now earning small fortunes! Best of luck.

I'm an Administrator - temping at the moment (boooring) whilst looking for that elusive fantastic job that pays mega bucks for 10 hours per week ;-)

Recently made redundant from a fab job selling CD's, compiling music chart listings and selecting stock/managing budgets for clients.

Previously was a bank clerk for 17 years before I managed to escape!

Thanks shammydodger, I cant wait to get started but the thought of being a skint student for 4 years is a bit daunting. Nurses salary aint fantastic but I have to give up my car, gym, holidays, concerts, l'ancome cosmetics :( Thankfully I have been a good girl and paid off all my debts, also have a lovely bf who is going to pay the mortgage so shouldnt have to worry too much. Like you say, it will be worth it in the long run. x
