What is the outcome of your problem?

Have been intrigued for a long time now --so thought I would ask other ABers for their opinion------

On AB there are many , many posts which ask for advice/help on matters which may be , personal , legal,
sensitve and so on.

ABers in the majority try to help, and even the jesting ones , the majority,are not deliberately nasty and spiteful ( my view only here)

So why do we hardly ever get to know what the outcome to the original post is.?
I can't be the only one who wonders what happened.
