just read about this, ok its in prison, who cares about them, well i do. if this is the growing trend inside a prison then what is our country as a whole going to be like in 10 years time. sharia law courts being introduced. jihadists are becoming more and more popular. they will make the troubles in belfast, northern ireland and uk look like a walk in the park. mass immigration , no jobs , NHS is in deep trouble. obamacare in the USA.
what is going to become of our country ? i really do fear for my childrens future. its scary !!! the world is changing so fast and not for the better.
im just waiting on some idiot replying that immigration is good for our country tut tut .
UKIP getting my next vote for sure !!!

all of us have some kind of brainwashing, or social conditioning and probably dont even realise it , things we think are 'just right' and 'just how it is' - things so deeply ingrained in us or in society that we dont question them anymore
these people are not kidnapped then systematically fed claptrap until they break and start believing it - they are brought up that way from birth, they know of no other way - but they are totally dominated by it and their actions totally governed by it, because it is so deeply ingrained in theor psyche that they just think its how things are or supposed to be ... it is still brain washing

i only have to listen to those who were brought up in strict Catholic households, the guilt never goes, hell and damnation, and the fear instilled is so ingrained. It may be getting less so now, but i know any number who's lives have been ruled and largely ruined by it, and if you think they are the only ones then think again. How many young Muslim girls would perhaps like to wear something other than traditional garb, or wear makeup, or date whom they please, only to be thwarted because of their religious upbringing, they won't, can't go against their parents.
beez...I have scoured all your post on this subject but still cannot find any explanation of the connection between obamacare and you rant about muslims. So, one last chance...what is the connection please.
Failing beez answering coherently, does anybody else on here know what the connection is please ?

Apart from the 15 listed under 'militants' which of these Muslims would you allow to stay in the UK, beeza?

beez...you have made a complete fool of yourself here, with your incoherent, xenophobic, hypocritical, and factually-incorrect rant. And despite us asking you, still haven't answered the question that sandyRoe and I have asked you, re obamacare. Can I suggest that a period of silence and reflection from you might be worth trying ?
pixie, my point is, you cant force it no, but you dont have try to, people who are being brainwashed dont know they are being brainwashed ... they are being 'convinced', using clever trickery and techniques, and come to believe the stuff themselves. they believe it is all totally true - there is no 'will' involved because they are not aware its happening.
of course they can break away from it - but believing something is not the same as brainwashing, brainwashed people believe ludicrous nonsense despite all evidence to refute it, and no matter what problems it is causing for them and others ... people who merely believe, will just stop believing

As i said, brainwashing is an exceptionally rare skill, which seldom works- even with the right victim and environment. A person's upbringing is not brainwashing. Those incapable of thinking for themselves are mentally ill- and are harder to brainwash than anybody. Otherwise, beliefs and actions are choice. You might find someone's belief irrational- it isn't to them. That doesn't mean they are brainwashed.

I beg to differ. Just recently a 5 year-old who attends a CofE faith school told me that Jesus died to save us. That unsubstantiated rubbish didn’t emanate from his imagination. That he is taught – and as a five year old, what he is taught he believes – and it is drummed into him by a bunch of dotty old dames with enthusiastic relish. It might be trendy to defend such abject nonsense – but in reality, nonsense it is. Religious indoctrination - of whatever flavour - messes with the mind and it results in the involuntary abandonment of rationality. Brainwashing, sadly, is all too real. Abuse of innocent - or vulnerable – minds - because that’s what it is - sickens me – truly it does. Crazy people! What rational human being would find excuses for that?

Because brainwashing is changing a person's views against their will (look it up). Education- even if it's inaccurate, is not brainwashing. Any individual has the chance to think for themselves - usually when older, in the case of a child. I did research on it for Psychology degree and even in exceptional circumstances, such as isolation, starvation, POW camps- brainwashing was far less effective than you'd think. If an untrained parent can manage it- they really should be studied. It's a form of mind control- not just misleading people.
