No Scrivens it's not . Black Cat is saying that one set of taps is called Shave & a haircut da dada dada da da. What is the name of the set of taps that fits his football theme idea. The MOTD theme

Is it one of the tap timesteps?
"Shave and a haircut, no legs" is a rhythm of a doorknocker. De-Da-Da-Daaah! is the rhythmn of "My dog has fleasss!" used for tuning guitars and similar instruments.

Can't really recognise your tune.

Yes Hc that's what i mean. Does it have a "name" i can't access the links, but yes, i think it is the bit in the italian job
Personally, to get the note spacings right, I would write it as
dah dah, dit dit dah, dit dit dit dit, dit dah

Best match I can think of for that is The Italian Job (1960s original) end sequence music. Title/Artist I cannot recall.
(main lyric) "This is the Self Preservation Society"

but even they may have borrowed that rhythm from elsewhere.

hth
I recognise it as a WW2 chant "Hitler has only got one b*ll, the other is in the Free Trade Hall, Goiring has no b*lls at all" I maybe be wrong though! It is driving me mad too now.
no, not that one, UK - I know the one blackcat means. I didn't know it had a name.
It goes ha, ha, hahaha, hahahaha, Haha
Do you mean "Eye tiddley eye tie, brown bread" ... same tune as "How's your father? All right!" ... which I think was music hall performer Harry Tate.
hc has the correct one. The football one. I didn't think it had a name. I thought it was just a clap rhythm.

I now know it's not a tap timestep rhythm.
Is it the start of 'Back Home', England 1970? Was this the first use of it or does it go way before then?
