Do you view AB as a source of information and exchange that has/could help you form your worldview?
Or is it just a place where you can let off steam, expound your own views which you know are 'right' and are set in concrete?
If it has changed your opinions will you give an example?

I frequently change my views, equally sometimes what I read cements my own views. It ha taught me to be less polite as well with some people and more patient with others.
always thought of myself as a bit of a socialist. But having come on here and seen the real Guardian reading 'champagne' socialists and their contempt for working-class people I've taken a swerve to the right.
'seen the real Guardian reading 'champagne' socialists and their contempt for working-class people'

I read the Guardian, Svejk. Oh, hum!
I'm much more of a political animal than I realised. I'm much more aware of world and domestic events. Not sure whether AB was the catalyst for this or just my age (?).

My opinions are not necessarily 'right' but they are mine and as such I will stand by them, I don't think anything or anyone on here has changed my mind about anything at all, but I do think I have become far more understanding and tolerant since being here!
//I've taken a swerve to the right// and fallen off the quayside.
Hasn't changed my political views one little bit.
We take the Guardian svejk, are working class and only have champagne on birthdays and Xmas!
I'm not sure I've changed my views but I have learnt that I'm a bit judgemental and have also learned to respect and consider the view of SOME others who put their point across very eloquently even if it's not mine. This is however the most tolerant group I have ever come across, nothing like my real life.
i like the variety of people & SOH but am here to annoy Ed ;)
In life I have always said what I think, maybe at times I come out with the wrong terms, but to people that know me well they except my honesty, I will not give bull S---T answers or say yes when other people say no, I have had several compliments from Higher Managers for my honest opinion but obviously we are not all the same, my moto, if you do not want a truthful answer, "DO NOT ASK THE Q.
Because of what I have read on here I have moved from being an agnostic to an atheist and am very grateful for that. I wish it had happened sooner so that I could have given better counselling to someone very dear who was dying and frightened of where he was going.

I am what I am and AB will not change my views.
Reading the responses in AB tends to prove the statement by Alexander Pope: “Words are like Leaves; and where they most abound,
Much Fruit of Sense beneath is rarely found.” JUST KIDDING, folks: I've been here for quite a while (forget what my present profile says). I really enjoy the site; however, it hasn't changed my opinions: sometimes I think I don't have any, but I'm not sure:)

still active by the look of it!
I prefer the old Stewey!
I've realised some of my views are more set than I thought. I have also made slight alterations to some opinions, but nothing revolutionary. It's always interesting seeing other people's views, whether I agree with them or not.
That's the old me, Baldric and Tilly. Somehow I became estranged from meself. I don't like me anymore either:)
you realise how lucky you are.......
