I might have told this tale before but anyway, travelling from Lowerstoft to N/ton, I picked up this female hiker, en -route chatting about the world etc, on approaching the outskirts of N/Ton & coming up to Ummmm's area of Abington, this girl starting tapping me for money, I said no chance to this she said I think you had better think about what I( She ) had asked, I said is that a threat, her reply I think you had better give me some money, the police station is on the Main road opp where I used to park for the nigh, I pulled up outside the police station, got out & around to the Passenger side dragged this girl who was by now crying out of the cab, I walked her into the Police station & td them what this girl had said, the policeman asked this girl was this true, her reply I was joking, fkng Joking I said, I was asked if I wanted to make a case of this, I said no but give her a wolkoking, our firm was aware to the police who often came over for a chat when finishing their duties, I said I was parking up after this incident & if I was needed I would be in the Cab, did I pick up any more Hikers! Yes, Male Only, Fabricated story? I do not Fabricate this was true.

I wasn't very pleased Sqad, you hear of these things happening but when it happens to yourself, you start S-I-Ing yourself, but I know I had a clear conscience. going back to the Cafe's A1 & many others, the help we were given / give, you got to know the owners up to the point, if you had been away for a few days & running out of money, breakfast / Dinner was given to you & pay on your next trip, those days were enjoyable & no-one was pushing the drivers, it was when you get you get there end of, they tried that with me, the sun does not shine to the reply I give them, to me safety came first.
