Is It Hard For You To Admit When You’Re Wrong?

Do you admit your faults and mistakes easily or do you find it hard to do so?

I do admit my mistakes and apologise if it is appropriate. Sometimes I do not realise my error, but if it is pointed out to me, and I can see that it is indeed a mistake, then I am happy to admit it and apologise for it. That to me is adult behaviour.

I have found that in real life it is arrogant people who do not admit when they are wrong. Even when pointed out to them. But they mostly seem happy in their ignorance so who knows!
I would not want anyone working for me that was not of stout enough character to apologise for mistakes.
By not admitting your mistakes and taking ownership of them you don’t learn.
However I do know someone who apologies all the time. Even when just leaning over to get something.

I'm Irish and was brought up Roman Catholic......so I have, as Edna O'Brien put it...A long iceberg of guilt.....
I feel guilty when I shouldn't so apologising comes easy to me.......even when I haven't made a mistake or when I'm right.....
I'm sorry if you find my answer confusing, Nameless...... :-(

I love it when I am wrong. It's an opportunity to learn more.
My life consists of going round the world telling people about a certain aspect of business. I'm not often wrong. As I get older, people call me out less and less. That's bad news because it makes me complacent.
So I genuinely look forward to the times when someone can teach me something.
AB can do that :)
