My Tribe Under Attack

My village is under attack.
People from other tribes are coming from the great waters, and coming to my land.
Once they are here, they are taking our coloured beads, swamping our Shamans and Witch Doctors with their problems, and building their totem poles in the midst of our village.
They are also raiding our food stores, and none of them have ever helped to sow, husband or harvest our crops.
Should we do nothing?
I am also concerned that these alien people are overwhelming my village with a disregard for our traditions, and I fear that the way of life of my village will soon be lost.
Should I welcome these other tribes?

I don't think our tribe has done a bad job. Other tribes seem keen enough to reap the benefits of it.... and it sure as hell ain't their land!

No, Scotland is not mine, it does not belong to any one.
People are free to come and go as they have done for thousands of years and still seem to be doing. I’m still here so I’ve not abandoned it

You work hard to earn your coloured beads and stock up your food stores. Other tribes want to come in and share in what you have earned / built without ever contributed to the wealth of your village.
Then the influx need some of your mud huts so there is now a hut shortage. The hunting grounds cannot sustain the new population, so everybody now has a lower standard.
Of course if you are from Scotland it doesn't bother you, for some reason, some scots are happy to live twenty to a hut, as long as they can get deep fried mars bars and fire water.
