They say every cloud has a silver lining. My one, amid all that's going on, is that my favourite programmes won't be off because of some sports event. Yay!

And what about all the people who work in the sports sector? All those thousands of stewards, bar, restaurant and ancillary workers in stadiums around the country who have now lost their income? Spare a thought for them while you watch some rubbish on TV.

i dot know what programs you watch, but if it' soaps, i expect they'll dial back on making them soon

Thats good, people may die, but hey, you won't have to watch sports in stead of switching over.
