IN my lifetime there always been wars or the reports of wars ? But the churches are supposed to promote peace ???? THAY are supposed to be representing the creator or God ? One of the commandments is thou shall not kill..????? Look at the Russian orthodox church both the same church but in conflict with one another..

Locust //yes many people believe that the bible is a myth and fairy stories???after you read some of the contents of the bible and really analyze it you will find history and archaeology today will back the bible up ---and if you just look at babylon today the bible says it will be a desolate waste -- and archaeology has backed the bible up ? the bible says that the waters of babylon was diverted and archaeology has proven this correct------there are many more of these illustrations---the bible talks are day there will be peace------Psalms 72-7 In his days the righteous will flourish, And peace will abound until the moon is no more.

Plenty of temporary peace in limited areas. But while criminally psychological individuals get to be leaders and see gain from violence towards others, then nothing much will change. True democracy would help if it was ever implemented properly, and globally. But the risk of tyrants getting into power wherever the public look up to dominant characters, will likely always remain. It needs a global change of attitude, and that's unlikely to occur unilaterally as the first to go "soft" becomes the next target for the warmongers and empire builders.
