So "Go Brandon" is banned on here. Oh dear, how pathetic.

You know what I think I am finished on this site.

Maybe see you all around sometime.
Mad. If there was anything for the super sensitive to be offended about, it would be the first word of the phrase 'Let's' which you obviously left off in case any delicate flowers went to the trouble of looking it up to be offended.
I know it's really annoying but is it a hill to die on?
Generally I think people here much prefer Biden to Trump.

I think Putin seriously underestimated him: probably thought “bumbling old duffer - pushover”. Similarly Xi.
Trump is a narcissist who is easily flattered by unscrupulous people.
Biden is a lot tougher than he might seem. As indeed you probably would be if you’ve been in the politics game as long as he has.
I was going to say I don’t believe anyone would take that ridiculous objection seriously and remove that .. but they did. I despair of the moderation around here - I really do.

YMB, let it run off you. It’s just the foibles of the precious.
Seems senile to me.
Far better than the alternative, but for the past two elections, you've had precious little to choose from.
not a lot i think that it would be similar to how non british people think of lizz truss it is like who is she
Complete cabbage. The poor guy should have been put out to grass long ago.
from the videos i see online he seems like an old man that falls over his words
His words?!

I remember Gerry Ford, who was even clumsier. I think it was said of him , perhaps by Nixon, not sure, that he could not chew gum and fart at the same time. But then like Boris, Nixon could not find his *** with both hands
Pastafreak, I am well aware of the importance of roots to Americans, it wasn’t meant as a criticism, being proud of your roots is one thing, but seeming to use your distant heritage as a means to put the uk at the back of the queue in terms of a much needed trade deal , and then linking this to the resolution of the NI protocol problem is another. I did not repeat Grandpa joe’s full words as it would be way too inflammatory for this forum
Pastafreak : Btw, my reference to grandpa Joe is not about Biden’s age, it’s about a character in Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the chocolate factory” who had much wisdom and gently coached the young Charlie, but was so old he couldn’t get out of bed. Let’s hope the leader of the worlds most powerful nation can learn to modify his language and recognise the sensitivities of places beyond the CONUS, before he ends up like the original Grandpa Joe
