Despite this, II Timothy 3 informs us that we are also in the Perilous Times of The Last Days. Following the Age of Grace will be The Day of Christ, commonly called the Second Coming.
Philippians 1
10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
Philippians 2
16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
II Thessalonians 2
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
It is not possible to know or estimate (by signs, CNN, etc.) when The Day of Christ will begin as God is keeping it a secret. We only know that it will commence with the shout of the Archangel Gabriel.
I Thessalonians 4
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
The events of the end times recorded in Matthew, Luke, and Daniel will occur only after we have been gathered together with Christ (II Thessalonians 2:1). For greater depth and detail: https:/ /archiv e.org/d etails/ aredead aliveno w0000wi er/page /n5

PsalmEquipt, I can’t open that. I’m told it’s not secure.
Do you still not realise that biblical texts don’t impress those who’ve read it and conclude it’s nonsense? Why do none of you just have a discussion with other members here? Can you not do that without resorting to scripture? Your own thoughts would be more conducive to encouraging debate. As it resorting to other people’s words every time you appear just results in eyes glazing over.

locusst//yes I like to thank you for your time and effort I'll put in those scriptures together and give him me an insight to what you are trying to tell me I agree with most of what you say is true because there is a second coming of Christ and he will come unannounced or the scriptures verify this out just like in the days of old when Moses people with waiting for the release from captivity was over 400 years and from then on they were waiting for the Messiah which was over another 2,000 years for the Messiah to arrive so once again we're in roughly the same time period of two and a half thousand years so time is at the Essence now and he will arrive unannounced thank you for your comments ?

locustj///ust because you are blinded and cannot see the truth? and try to tear down another man or woman's thoughts ?just because you do not like it. and willing to quote scripture for enlightenment for us who are looking for answers?
You remind me of The pharisees Who use their own philosophies and their own personal way of trying to get well out of the poor people in the Jewish times Jesus talked about them as being like whitewash Walls clean on the outside but dirty on the inside are you trying to represent these ?Matthew 23 .27 ? Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because you resemble whitewashed graves, which outwardly indeed appear beautiful but inside are full of dead men’s bones and of every sort of uncleanness.

Locust, this is not a pulpit - it's a discussion board open to all - so if you post here you can expect questions - and sometimes opposition. I haven't attacked you but nevertheless, you compare me to a Pharisee - something you despise - and yet in feigning piety and setting yourself up as a judge, as you do, you're behaving as exactly that. Something for you to think about - and if you need a biblical text or two to help you, try Matthew 7.1 and 7.15.
Must be some new definition of "ignored" I've yet to come across.

A little googling
Naomi says I am a demon googler ( but hey if the alternative is wading frooda dross on AB...)
Ostensibly "an account of the activities and visions of Daniel, a noble Jew exiled at Babylon", it combines a prophecy of history with an eschatology (a portrayal of end times) both cosmic in scope and political in focus, and its message is that just as the God of Israel saves Daniel from his enemies, so he would save ...
so if you believe that the OT is a prequel to the New T which some do and just about everyone did for the first 1000 years
then one can see that the prophetic bits of Daniel should pre-run those in the New T., esp Mt and Revelations
Not rocket science - we all really knew that didnt we? ( that the NT has bits about the end of Times)
These revelations ( haw haw haw) arent beyond the average ABer are they ?
