So I'm in a really bad place as I'm in an underpaid job that I don't like, no house, no car or partner. I never had enough money either even though I got a good socail life but I just feel like I'm worth nothing

And have you been offered any?

//The Dr can't help with finance and getting a parter//

No, I'm afraid you will have to sort those things out yourself. When you pull your finger our and get and hold down a decent job (this will involve hard work) and save some funds instead of just blowing it on clothes and bottomless brunches, you might fund you come across as more attractive to a potential partner.

Scorp of course I wouldn't tell a guy that like I said a few months back I went on a date with a guy who lives with his mum and can't drive due to a medical condition but he was the one that changed his mind.

Question Author

Scorp now as I only just signed up

I haven't bought clothes unless they really need replacing

I hope that you listen and absorb what the counsellor says to you.

I need to write notes down

Abbey, you are living a life you can't afford whilst complaining about not having the life you want - and what's more is you have been given some excellent advice but it goes in one ear and out the other.  If you do not heed the advice you will be in the same situation in 10 years' time.

If you are the age you say you are, you really need to get cracking now.

Lady that what I'm trying to do but don't know who to turn to

How about talking to your mum or sister?

There is no magic wand but they might be able to help you cope

Question Author

My sister lives miles away.

My mum said just pay her off what I owe but no keep

Abby we are all going round in circles here.  Time to grow up, get a job, forget about finding "the man".  When you are more responsible someone will come into your life when you least expect it.  How many more answers are we supposed to give?    And the word is 'counsellor'.

You don't turn to anyone, Abbey, you have to do those things yourself.  It's no one else's responsibility to make those provisions for you.

Question Author

That exactly what I'm trying to do

How, exactly, are you "trying to do" those things?

In your mind you probably think you are, in practice you're not.  I have been in a similarly dark place to you in the past and it's not nice I grant you but only you can change your life.  I would be delighted for you if you managed to climb out of this hole you're presently in but you seem impervious to sound advice.

Abbey, maybe you are trying to get yourself out of the horrible mess you got yourself into, but you're still wasting a lot of time and energy. You're thinking of applying for jobs that you couldn't do and wouldn't enjoy, you're still having your 'dilemmas' with the dog home guy. Getting a proper job is the main thing right now - and be realistic, you might have more success if you tackle things head on

Question Author

I know getting a full time is priority

Abbey can you bring us up to date with what is happening on the job scene?

Do you have a job at present, is there anything in the pipeline?

But when you do, Abbey, work hard at your job, save money and keep on with the driving lessons. Then you will have a lot more freedom and confidence than you have now.

Question Author

Yes I do but not enough hours. I've applied for a job in selco working 37 hours per week.
