So I'm in a really bad place as I'm in an underpaid job that I don't like, no house, no car or partner. I never had enough money either even though I got a good socail life but I just feel like I'm worth nothing

What would be your duties at Selco?

Lots of hunky builders and DIY men in and out of there.😃

Question Author

Checkout Assistant

What hours would you be working?

Question Author

37 hours a week

Well I wish you good luck and hope you get it. Keep us in the loop.

Good luck Abbey, but no-one can help you except yourself.

I think all of us have 'been there' no money, bills etc.  and we had to plough on and help ourselves. The world does not owe anyone (including you) an easy ride. I've certainly lived with bare floorboards, no washing machine, my mum's old blackout curtains, a baby and a mortgagethat soared from  4% interest to 18%!

I lost lots of weight - which was the good side.

You make your own worth.  As I said, I wish you well.

i thought youd said before that you couldnt cope with the checkout (at B+M)

Question Author

Thanks for the update, Abbey. I hope the thought of a full-time job brings out the best in you and that you impress them enough to be given a job.

Good luck at Selco, hope it goes well

Are you working today?

Question Author

I am just had a call off them

Will you do the trial on your non-laundry days, Abbey? You'll need to keep some money coming in!

Question Author

Yes

OK.
