Good or Bad Luck ?

I have just bought a handbag in a second hand shop, and inside I found what is obviously someone's lucky 'charm'. It is a shame they have left it in the bag,but I am now wondering whether, if I keep it, (which I will) will it bring me good luck, or possibly bad?? Strange question, I know, but I would welcome any comments.

Well it'll either be bad luck or none at all. If it brought good luck the original owner wouldn't have forgotten it was in there when she sent it to the 2nd hand shop!

maybe the owner left it in there for luck when she passedd it to the second hand shop. You know like how some people put a shiny coin in a new purse they are giving to someone.
