wet weekend

just great was lovely and hot all week when we was all working well most off us any way . weekend comes it has not stopped raining , please can everyone do a sun dance we want sun . ,when will it be hot again ? what have you all done today ?

Read the papers, hung around AB off and on whilst listening to my mp3 on speakers, no one else in so no risk of being teased about my music! Cleaned a couple of cupboards out and juggled the washing on the radiators.Quite chilled really but wouldve been nice to be able to go out, heres hoping for tomorrow.

We have spent a lovely day watching the Monaco Grand Prix in bed and drinking mangers cider it was very cosy and the company was good too lol I wish the kids would go out more often!

Only ventured out to get some breakie (bacon, eggs, beans and potato bread! YUM!), and it wasn't raining...yet!
I'm sure it will as soon as i step outside to go to my mate's! lol
Having a girl night in tonight, with scary movies, wine and pizza! yipee! :O)

Been out buying paint and a border for my little boys bedroom, ready to spend the bonk holiday wisely with a paint brush in one hand and a roller in the other! Might as well whilst its peeing down anyway, not much else to do is there?

Paintbrush to cut in and a roller for the rest of it! and its always been a bonk holiday in our house, sounds so much more fun than a bank holiday!!!!

I watched the Monaco Grand Prix then decided to have a go at some beading. This is where you have to cut a piece of wood at 45 degrees to another piece so they meet up nicely in the corners. The problem is that 45 degrees can be in either direction and as often as not I was cutting in the wrong perspective. It's no good measuring and then running to the saw block trying to remember the 45 degree bit because as soon as you get there you have forgotten it or got confused. The only solution is to draw a clue on it with a biro.

I can see where you are coming from dot, and sound advice too, but what I am getting at is whether the cut goes like this \ or like this / because if you get it wrong you end up with a silly looking gap like /\.

Plus the fact that I was in my underwear with no net curtains and you can see that I wasn't really concentrating on the job in hand.
