Yes, I did go somewhere to prepare. I had 'disaster sensing', where if something was badly wrong like my exam results I could tell as soon as I got near the envelope. But little more. When I finally left college after many years of formal study I wanted to study for pleasure, and that was my main interest so joined a psychic development group to see what people could do.
In a few minutes she had me seeing auras and tuning in to all sorts of information and I teach the same to others now in a similar period. I've done tests on simple clairvoyance now for 20 years (which was when this began) and can easily turn out good results time after time and frightened a good many new arrivals who were drawing accurate pictures of something I'd drawn and sealed in another room after I showed them how.
ESP is on many levels, and each is pretty much as hard to get to as the last once you go beyond the easy stuff. In fact the reality bending stuff is so rare few claim it can be done and even fewer demonstrate it to others. I have seen a few people do object materialisation and the like (including two sessions with Uri Geller) and the first guy seemed pretty difficult to be able to cheat, and was investigated formally since with controls and still managed the same thing.
We can all naturally tune in to everything like TV sets and once we get used to it can get better with practice. The higher stuff though remains more a potential goal so far but just enough material for me not to dismiss the big stuff like bilocation and psychokinesis altogether.
