is it acceptable? no. Is it being reported? no. however no offence meant but when sikhs get killed in a shooting in wisconsin or other religions get attacked it is all over the media. this thread is to merely raise awareness of this issue.

I have been getting text messages, shared links on facebook and so much more from friends. But I shared none of them. The simple reason is that I know that it would not make a blind bit difference to main media. I watched TV, Newspapers but no mention and being a Muslim I know why. Had it been one fly killed by a Muslim, it would have been at the front page every where.

Then few people wonder why few stupid Muslims go out and blow themselves. Where I have never condoned (and never will) any action like that but sometime they feel that that is the only way of getting some attention.

Any way thanks for putting it up here but I would be amazed if you would get more than 10 posts. Just consider it reversing and then see all pouring in.

exactly the answer i would have given and the answer i expected, however i said it because as no one is doing anything about it and even if they are, compared to other things the support would be nothing, this shows how some people just ignore it. no killing is acceptable no matter what, as you so rightly said.

im a muslim and whether that was meant as a joke or an insult, its untrue as there are 1.2 billion muslims in the world. Considering how islam started off as a small religion and how it is now the second largest religion in the world and that people are converting shows that they have other ways off attracting attention than the suggestion you have given.

you won't get anywhere on AB, by being the following, downright rude, i am not suggesting you are by the way, or totally negative as there are too many on here who are quite upbeat, despite their problems. If you need a helping hand even in cyber space those on here will give you a cyber hug. However your Muslim brothers and sisters seem to be having a good go at alienating folks, it didn't do much for me when 52 souls of all persuasions got blown to pieces here in London. And almost every time you switch on news, read the paper, there is conflict across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, please don't tell me there isn't.

I respect what youre saying but you say muslims alienate. In egypt, a muslim country, there are coptic christians, the original christians. Also there are many countries where muslims and other religions live peacefully. However in countries like Bosnia muslims were killed for being different. There must have been christians and other religions who took part in those killings but no one blamed it on religion, did they. however when a muslim does it than its the fault of islam. Also did the whole of islam play a part in 7/7? no. only a few muslims yet again all muslims get critisized and all muslims have to suffer and apparently all muslims are to blame.

as i said this thread was for raising the issue which i hope i have and i will continue to defend my religion. i respect everything you say however and i sincerely mean no disrespect, however i being a muslim will probably still get blamed.
