In Hanley where I work, on Thursday, there was a big blue three-sided tent set up in the main shopping area, and plastered all over it was the phrase 'Do You Want To Know The Truth?' in about sixteen different langauges.

Seated behind a table were two of the most po-faced misterable individuals you could wish to see - their faces would have curdled milk.

In the time I was in view, not one person approached their tent for the 'truth' - maybe because when they got withint range, copies of The Watchtower were visible on the table!!

Some people have great difficulty in getting along with certain people? Have you thought about what definite steps to take that may possibly resolve the your situation.

More accurately, you may find that atheists have trouble getting along with you, and other JH's, which, given the way you approach everyon on the AB, is hardly surprising!

But then again, i don't catagorise people by their belief systems when measured against mine, and decide if i get on with them on the measurement - that would be singularly arrogant, pompous and rude.

No,the basis for such unity is God’s Word, the Bible. Of course, Jehovah’s Witnesses realize that they cannot dictate to others what to do. But they appreciate the privilege of encouraging others to learn from the Bible many have from different religions and ethnic groups. Other Witnesses were formerly agnostics or atheists.

Sorry goodlife but what gives you the idea that Atheists don't get on with people? As an Atheist, I get along with anyone. This is the freedom that not having any set faith gives me, I acknowledge people have different faiths but I do not feel the need to try to push them into believing in anything. Simple.

This statement is utter bullshine. When I was at school the JW kids were not allowed in assembly, even though the morning assemblies were strictly non denominational.

Certain individuals in the area in which I live are targeted and pestered with visits from groups of JW's. This was tried on my wife until I came home and caught 'em at it.

As to your good self, isnt "Goodlife a presumptuous name to give yourself. Do you no know that prid is a deadly sin?
