What Do The Faithful Have That The Rest Of Us Don’T?
375 Answers
With no explanation, Goodlife is constantly telling the ‘poor’ atheists here that they have nothing – and today Khandro said exactly the same. I'm curious. Just what is it that these chaps think they have that the rest of us lack?

Delusions
God’s promised new world will be as real to you as if it were already here. (2 Peter 3:13) And you will see clearly with eyes of faith that Jehovah God, Jesus Christ, and God’s Kingdom are all realities, not delusions.
Logic failure
Can a system of logic really acquaint you with the Creator? Can such a system reveal what his name is? Can it explain the origin of the universe or why evil and suffering are permitted? Can it give you a satisfying hope for the future? see which religion satisfactorily answers these questions (Proverbs 12:18.)
scepticism
consequence of the attitude of relativism and scepticism in our own age is quite simply a lack of reverence for truth (Heb. 6:17-19)
Fear of responsibility
Not by fearing fear but by fearing Jehovah we learn the secret of freedom from fear. That is why there will be one class on earth that will enjoy freedom from fear ( ECCLESIASTES 12:13
loneliness
Whether being lonely is an occasional thing or a sad way of life for you, the first step in finding a cure is understanding its cause. Ancient King Solomon observed: “A man of understanding is the one who acquires skillful direction.”—Proverbs 1:5.
sense of self importance
It is difficult, however, to put our heart and soul into our service to God if we do not have a feeling of urgency deep within ourselves or if the sense of urgency we once had has now become dull—perhaps lost altogether. Today, we live in a time of urgency unparalleled by any other period in man’s history. (Colossians 3:23)
reality
Christianity is therefore no flight from reality. It involves a manly facing up to responsibility. The God we worship is no mirage; he is real. The life of service we lead is one of meaning and fulfillment. Our hope in a future reward, rather than being a baseless supposition, has as its sure foundation the promises of a God who cannot lie.—Hebrews 6:18.

Khandro has a point and is not a fantasist. I too wonder why the need to ask the original question in the first place - unless you think you could be missing something? You dont say what do the faithful think they have, you say "What Do the Faithful have...." That suggests that you know we have something and would like to know more. Otherwise why does it matter to you quite so much what religious people think about atheists?
