goodlife - "1 Corinthians 6:9-11 says: “What! Do you not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom.
So the best way to avoid him is to disfellowship that person, set him aside, get him out of the congregation, so that the whole congregation may remain clean."
Wonderful - but what about the Jesus who said that any man who repents will inherit the kingdom of God?
I am sure that if there is a heaven, everyone will be there - Christians, Muslims, jews, Budhists, even atheists, because Gof will forgive and welcome them all.
I am equally sure that there will be one section with a very high wall around it, and God will ask everyone to nice and quiet when walking past it.
And if anyone asks God why we need to be quiet, God will smile and say "That's the Jehovah's Witness's section, and they think they are the only ones here!"
"Disfellowshipped"?
