Mediums, Psychics And Ghosts

Hi, How many of you believe in mediums and psychics? Do you believe ghosts exist? How does the Ouija Board work? How can a board with a few numbers and letters call a spirit? Is there life after death? Do we meet our family who have gone before us? thanks

It’s a personal journey and experience for each individual. Faith, desire, subconscious projection, there are a thousand explanations. Having experienced certain psychic phenomena personally I can affirm to my own satisfaction there is more to our so called reality than assumed. Boaty, and Minty have experienced things on their journey through this life that others could or would not comprehend. I believe in their integrity and honesty, that’s my choice.

My next door neighbour lost his wife 18 months ago. When we all came back from the funeral I was having a few words with him on my path and a white feather came fluttering down . I said to him look you know what that means and we both froze . I had heard of this before but never experienced it .

All I can add here is that like some know what they experienced has been the same for me even as a child. What I personally feel is that some people are 'tuned' into such things and some aren't. One will never change anything by relating their experience because unless you actually witness it for yourself you can convince yourself these things cannot happen.

Just to 'back up' my theory of some are tuned and some are not... Four people in a room in close proximity three heard the 'strange' noise one didn't. Two of the three who heard it weren't interested ever in the paranormal and the third who heard it had previous experience of such things. So I do feel some are tuned in...some aren't and ne'er the twain shall meet.

I don't see anyone claiming that anyone is obliged to believe or disbelieve anything, but if you say you disbelieve in a phenomenon that's one thing, but when you say you disbelieve something someone else has claimed happened to them, then how you express that makes a difference between being civil or not. I think that the 07:32 post identifies that. "I don't believe you" is the equivalent of "you're lying". It's about tact and diplomacy during a discussion, especially where it's written and so body language/expression/tone is absent.

I've posted on this subject many times. We have a resident poltergeist. Many things have happened.
The best corroborated one was a lump of pot pourri flying through the air from one end of the room to the other. We both witnessed it. OH is the most sceptical person I know but he was absolutely shattered by it.
