I would guess that, by definition, ghosts are already 'dead', the can't die again, and are technically immortal, but no-one knows.

No, they don't die. They live here on AB and pop up now and again with their know-it-all remarks and superior attitude. Can't get rid of them though - even totally ignoring them doesn't work.

Ghosts are disjointed souls who are trapped in between this incarnation and the next. As such they don't "die" - they've already done that - they just need assistance to pass to the next level. Most mediums can do that fairly simply.

I’ll risk introducing a serious question into this thread. Does that include the spirits of Moses and Elijah that appeared to Jesus and held a conversation with him shortly before his arrest?
