Weve had our spats on here and biblical apologetics has been done to death.
But Im genuinely interested...
When you read the Old Testament, what does your conscience say?
When you read of God ordering killings, war and genocide, when you read of injust laws been implemented and God ordering the execution of rebellious teenagers or women that don't bleed on their wedding night or rape victims having to marry their rapist so that they can be *kept* for the rest of their lives (by their rapist)
Doesn't that repel you in any way?
Just trying to understand the mind of a literalist bible believer.
You seem to have an obsession with what you perceive to be my ego, Theland. You've mentioned it twice within a few minutes on two separate threads. Clearly not my problem.
The truth and accuracy seem to be less important than tripping me up, and giving yourselves a slap on the back.
No problem.
God has dealt with greater things.
Theland, you trip yourself up. You talk about ‘truth’ but I suspect your refusal to answer Nailit’s very simple but relevant question emanates from your refusal to acknowledge the truth.
//Theland, I'm surprised that you rise to the bait//
//Same could be said about atheists rising to Theland's 'bait'//
Just my point nailit - there is never going to be agreement on the subject of religion on this site so why do you (and Theland) persist in raising the topic?
