Of course not. There are books and research papers but the videos are concise and interesting even if you just skip through them and pick out the bits that interest you.
I am not an academic and I cannot possibly remember all of the information I have come across.
And as usual, Theland confirms he is a coward when it comes to debate and off he goes with yet another thread on the same topic where he will not engage in discussions that confront his treasured dogma.
Theland - "Search them out for yourself" does not constitute a attempt to engage in debate. It is a lame attempt to avoid it.
Please explain your objection to the explanation I posed about how a tiny rate of genetic change of only one in tens of thousands of matings can result in chimps and humans descending from a common ancestor.
If you are not able to summon the answer from your memory then YOU should go and do the research and explain the objections here.
If you cannot do that then you have definitely lost this debate.
Theland, thanks for the reply - though it seems rather evasive! I do not for one minute believe that the videos are 'concise and interesting' and I'm disappointed that you can't (ever) come up with a paragraph or two of seriously enlightening material.
Beso - I am not interested in winning or losing.
Your examples are weak and depend on assumptions and suppositions.
They are worthless and are not proof of evolution.
But thank you for your thoughtful and well mannered responses. I really appreciate them.
Beso - If winning and losing a debate is so important to you, then I feel sorry for you.
It matters not to me.
I have investigated evolution and spent considerable time weighing up the arguments for and against.
I am satisfied that Darwin and Dawkins are wrong.
Micro evolution, yes, but macro evolution, definitely no.
Theland, please just summarise why? Clearly you understand it enough to rule it out. I personally, don't need full on scientific accuracy. I am not an academic either... just a rough guide of your views would be nice. Thanks x
This video, (you don't have to watch it - for reference only), proves that evolution from ape to man is a fallacy.
Evolution is a philosophy and not a science, as the scientific method cannot be applied to it.
Evolutionists rely on assumptions, suppositions and guesswork. A total fallacy.
The bible does not talk about species, but, "kinds," a big difference.
Theland, why do you and the millions who believe in creationism constantly talk about it? Especially when you have stated frequently you're not here to preach. It sounds to me that all you people are not quite certain and have to reassure yourselves as often as possible.
I have a friend who is a Christian and she has never felt the need to keep on to me about it. She knows where I stand on the subject and we just don`t go there. Keep your belief TheLand and be happy.
Oh and I forgot to say, she would never state such a thing as God does or does not exist because she firmly believes he does, so maybe you do doubt it yourself.
Theland //Your examples are weak and depend on assumptions and suppositions.
They are worthless and are not proof of evolution.//
Please point out specifically which things I posted are assumptions and suppositions.
You don't seem to understand that debate requires more than simply claiming that I am wrong and my examples are worthless without addressing the specifics.
Theland, The video you’ve posted here is almost an hour and a half long – and you say it’s for reference only. For those reluctant to spend a considerable amount of time watching it, which bit in particular are we supposed to refer to? If you’re learning anything at all from these videos, surely you are capable of conveying the information they contain and conducting a meaningful conversation.
