Theland // you infer that nothing can be subjected to the laws of quantum mechanics. //
I infer nothing. Nor do I wish to imply anything. I do not claim to understand quantum theories; just to have some tiny, low-level understanding of what quantum foam might be.
More than that, I've spent most of my life trying to understand the limits of science and what insights religious experience might offer.
You, my friend, have faith in bucketloads.
I suspect your understanding of science – and especially modern relativistic and quantum theories – is significantly less mature.
That's fine. Less than 1% of the population has ny concept of quantum mechanics. I admire your willingness to engage on these subjects.
As I said, however, anyone, no matter how smart; how faithful; who uses the language of faith to argue in the world of science and cosmology is doomed to failure.
If you truly want to understand what cosmologists think about the origin of the universe, two good places to start are Scientific American and New Scientist.
https://www.scientificamerican.com/cosmology/
https://www.newscientist.com/article-topic/cosmology/
They're not hardcore, peer-reviewed science, but they are usually reliable sources to start on a journey toward your avowed intention to understand how and where and when the universe may have started - at least, according to the scientists.
I wish you luck in your journey.
