NASA has announced it is thirty years since the Hubble telescope was launched.
It has revealed the true wonders of the universe.
Brings to mind Psalm 19.

Theland, what you 'haven't seen in science' lends no weight to your 'so it must have been God' argument. You may feel that science has 'totally failed to explain..' - that's what many of us feel about your lofty pronouncements on the Bible.
Question Author
Never - I'm not making any lofty pronouncements.
I simply believe in God.
If you find my belief offensive, I'm sorry ....... for you.
Does God have a gender?
Thanks, Theland. I was referring to your repeated 'God simply is' or your regurgitated lines from the Bible - loftiness was often in evidence. I don't find your belief offensive, but I am relieved that you are not typical of the very many Christians I know, like and respect.
Ouch.

Naomi - Yes I know you study.
After discussing stuff with you for the last fourteen (?) years,
I am fully aware that you are clued up on all sorts of subjects, and are extremely intelligent.
I think, if you really applied yourself to the big questions, you would realise that the experts from science are afraid to abandon their worldview in advancing knowledge, and are duping us.
Play devils advocate with THEM, and you will find them wanting.
There is an agnostic, Professor David Berlinski, both scientist and philosopher, whose lectures and interviews on YouTube are sensibly and logically presented, and I am sure you will find him enlightening.
I am careful not to recommend believing scientists for fear of the risk of bias.

I am sorry for anybody who does not have Gods friendship.
Nothing personal Never. That came across as rude. Sorry.
Theland, //I think, if you really applied yourself to the big questions, you would realise that //......

.... no one ... absolutely no one ... has the definitive answers. It really is okay to say you don't know... when you don't.
//I am sorry for anybody who does not have Gods friendship. //

Don't be. It's arrogant and it's patronising.
Question Author
Sorry.
